Notes from Nashville

I am in Nashville this weekend visiting my new niece but Adam stayed in Little Rock to tend to the garden.

When I left, I gave 3 friendly "suggestions" to this non-Southern boy:
1. Go to the farm early in the day
2. Wear your hat
3. Wear sunscreen

Adam followed tip #3 and paid for his dismissal of the first two. The temperature was 104 in LR but he decided to till the garden to prepare it for our autumn crops. Despite the fact that he drank a lot of water, he felt woozy.

Unfortunately, since I have the camera this weekend, there are no pictures to document this. But Adam will admit it was not one of his "brightest moments."

Anything for the farm, I suppose.
